Of course some may prefer the design of the Freecom more as it is a smaller unit and easier to stash away. Voted HOT as it's a few pounds less than anywhere else I know of. Most other places its between £65 and £70 inc delivery.

Totally different drives are they not? the freecom is powered by USB and the LACIE is powered by AC adaptor so is not that portable really:thumbsup:

Lacie is good if you have a USB DVD player.

the 2,5 drives are usb powered so great for laptops, i stick all my movies and mp3's on mine, great find, im after a 250 version which i believe you can now get.
