cheapest 2.5" 250gb external hard drive i have seen (although i am sure someone will correct me soon enough) so not sure why others voted it cold, good find. Although saying that i would probably pay the little extra an buy either the toshiba or Western Digital drives that i also saw on amazon.

sarcasm apart,

imho, there is a difference between a good deal and the best price

this is a good price, not a great deal. if you need one now then it's the best one around, personally i'd wait and gamble on getting a much better deal (which is half the fun of bargain hunting)

Maybe they'll be a better deal next year, but not at the moment. This is an excellent deal. You can get a 250 for £45 ish, but nothing as good as this. Back up to £60 now, but the price has been yoyo-ing up and down for the last week.

There was a decent Buffalo 320 gig for under £50 a few days ago but it's gone now.
