This is not 27% smaller than the pocket sized Western Digital ones I have been selling for £59, which are hardly any bigger than an internal laptop Sata drive, as all it is is a SATA laptop in a thin case. Check out your measurements

I meant £49! There are a few now which fit in a shirt pocket

I've been looking at the same product and it's the same price at eBuyer

Darracott Jack - are you saying you (or your employer) are selling 320GB 2.5" external drives for £49.99 delivered? If so sounds like a deal.

The length and width are fairly standard but a thickness of just 13.5mm is impressive. I have been using a Freecom Toughdrive for a couple of years and it is great. It has always worked on the power from the USB. Main differences with this newly introduced drive are Toughbook has a short integral USB "lead" which adds to the length but the Mobile Drive XXS is much thinner.

Weights are 175g and 145g (Toughdrive and XXS) so decrease in size is not giving much weight saving.

Price appears similar to what is on offer elsewhere which is not surprising for a new product.

Voted hot for its size.

i got a freecom 400gb USB powered hard drive from ebuyer for 76.99 and it's great, works brilliant with my laptop and xbox 360. It's abit bigger than my mate's WD 320gb one tho, oh well who cares i got 80gb more! woo lol
