Had one of these about a year ago sounded great but turned out you had to use a garbage app for messaging couldn't just send normal texts. Dunno if it's changed since but my SIM ended up in the bin

Not free, you need to pay the £5 'activation' fee.
...also as above you need to use their phone/messaging apps.

I've been with them as a second sim from the start. Voice not very good if it works at all. I always said texts with the app are ok but recently they've stopped working, wouldn't be so bad if you knew they weren't getting to the recipient. Data is as three so for me data is still good.

Whatsapp and viber already do this! Wast of time

AVOID LIKE A PLAGUE
Just be aware. Unless you do not need to supply your credicard detail, avoid like a plague.
They have a sneaky way of charging you.

- Use a garbage app for messaging couldn't just send normal texts. So your phone will be blocked with their apps.
- the £5 'activation' fee. Before you even realize how useless they are

I have this simcard, got charged for a a few months before I even realize it. I cancel the DD and Simcard go to the bin.

I think it is unfair to compare it with whatsapp in this ways as freedompop give you free data every month.

We offer Premium Voice which works off cellular network as opposed to VOIP and is offered for free with paid plans. I have provided a link which helps explains it's functions. Please feel free to take a look.

The activation fee is a one-time fee, however, the plan itself is free. Also, users may use the native dialer with Premium Voice service. I have provided a link which provides the plans we offer and another explaining how Premium Voice works. Feel free to have a look.

to be fair the voice is shoddy but the data is ok
also they charged me but after I asked for a refund they gave it back no problem. customer service is ok. there was no activation charge if you got it on the fb offer so I got 2 for free but 1st was 5 quid

"Feel free to send me a Private Message should you need any assistance."

Thanks for the offer.
I think to regain confidence to convince people that there is not any sneaky way why not use the method where you could not charge people, unless they really mean it.
At the moment people will need to supply their full credit card detail and you could charge them anytime without the owner of credit cards realizing it. Or if they realize it is already too late as it happens a long time ago and fighting to get it back will just wasting their valuable time.

A few comes to mine:

- Payment through PayPal
- Payment using BACS (e.g Bank transfer)
- Or use like PAYG system, limit the basics service, people need to top it up when they need further services.

I have thrown mine to the bin I might want to get one again if I am sure there is no sneaky way of charging me.

Please explain the method used to convince customer there is no sneaky way of charging them.

Users are always more than welcome to downgrade their plans whenever desired. Now regarding another form of payment, we certainly accept PayPal. I have provided a link which will explain how to downgrade your account along with another which will elaborate more on PayPal. Please take a look at your convenience.
