I don't see what the problem is? What's wrong with a USB sync cable?

A word of warning to people who missed out on this. Be very cautious about buying this sort of thing on ebay or from sites like dealextreme/focalprice, as they are often wired unsafely and don't meet regulations. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/article2641861.ece

Now £1.94 but reviews say does not work with 2nd generation ipod touch.

Sounds like rubbish I would leave it alone!
Bought a similiar one (although for the car) failed to charge, you get what you pay for!
