Have been waiting for one of these to drop in price, and glad to see one below the £90 line. Not sure if I go for it or wait till Christmas.

Hah, was at makro and Costco yesterday and can't remember which one it was at. But was only about 70 with vat there, sorry I can't remember which.
It's Makro.
K. Tempted to buy one myself.
Just put off by cooking times.
I was debating it a lot a few month ago, but eventually decided oven was better. My favourite oven chips take 25-30mins at gas mark 5, which is same time as a few chicken items I like or breaded turkey steaks etc. So works out as a nice lazy convenience.
To be honest we mostly only use our actifry to make chips but it does make oven chips a lot nicer than when we've done them in a traditional oven.
Plus with Marie piper potatoes home made chips are really good and a lot more healthy than deep fried in a chip pan.

these will be given away for free in the very next few days.... new EU legislation means hoover cannot be consuming greater than 1600w....

The new legislation states that new vacuum cleaners (Hoover is a brand) cannot be manufactured with a motor drawing more than 1600 Watts. Ones already in existence are not affected. Therefore more people will want to purchase a more powerful cleaner before stock runs out which is likely to push prices up, not down.

I reccomend Doves Farm yeast 99p from Tesco.
Once opened store in a plastic container in the fridge. :-)
I bought mine from freenet electrical last night. Had a despatch email just after 12 noon and it's out on interlink for next day delivery sopretty quick.
This and the 254, best machines on the market.
Perfect bread every time.

I don't often comment on deals, but I have to say that this is an amazing bit of kit. Not the kind of thing I could justify buying for myself at £100+ so I got my mum to buy us one for Christmas and we haven't bought bread since. It takes 5 minutes (tops) to pop the ingredients into the machine and the timer lets you do it in the evening and wake up to the smell of fresh bread in the morning. I seriously couldn't recommend this highly enough. If you've been thinking about getting one, do it, you won't regret it!

Hot from me!

+1. Bought 1 from Debenham for £87 and I thought that was a good price. Anyway, agree with the comments above, so easy and a perfect loaf every time. Good price, highly recommended.
The price drop might be due to the new models coming out the 256 and 257, though I have no idea what they do extra.

I can't fault it, it does the job very well.

I switch it off during the night and have it on all day, needs emptying about once a week.

I think it's a lot better than my previous one which I had for about 10 years.

Looks like the FREE 5 years warranty is now over, you just get the standard 1 year one now and have to pay up to £50 extra for 5 years cover.
I would not bother to pay extra for it though, but was nice as a freebie when I ordered mine.

Per the site the 5 years cover is still available on this product.
No probs, glad to help.
Thanks Batman2. Rep added for you

Thanks. How noisy is it when it's on?

It's not bad, you will know it's on, but it's not like it's really loud, we have our placed in the upstairs corridor so you only really notice it when you pass it.
Thanks. How noisy is it when it's on?
