would a plastic washing up bowl at £1.99 be:

More practical with lay down / 'tip up waste technology'

A great deal cheaper than this for a vacuous piece of 'ceramica'. Overrated.......COLD at any price

it is a sink / basin, not a washing up bowl you plank! try using the link to view. Various styles of ceramic BASIN - bought one for our bathroom a year ago and they generally go for £100 upwards so it is a good deal.... ps; hardly vacuous, more cosmopolitan....

A site I generally use for bathroom stuff is http://www.bathingblissbathrooms.co.uk/
They sell sinks similar to the ones plumbworld do.

When you see them in real life they do look a lot better than some of the photos! So big-boy: they look a lot better than washing up bowls. ;-)

Wouldn't want to visit your little boy's room...... U got a bucket for a bog too? Mind you, I guess you can get buckets with lids but these might get in the way of your "lay down / 'tip up waste technology'" :whistling:

Pity they don't have one with an overflow - worth looking at all the ones they have available, a complete set with tap as well - handy as this needs quite a tall tap. I'm in the planning stage of an extension and I'm contemplating buying one to put away until it's needed!

Im looking for some Bristan or Hudson and Reed taps if anyone knows a reliable place.

Consider wall mounted tap(s). Hide the plumbing in the wall and you can mount this on an open unit. Much neater and cheaper.

:-D Still giggling at this ... but with one obsessive tap turner oner and not offer ... going to have to pass on anything without an overflow!

No plugs is there?

you don't need a plug - a 'pop-up basin waste' is used instead. They are on the site as well - have one in our bathroom sink and basically it replaces the plug with a chrome oval pop-up; that you click down to act as a plug, and click again to pop-up and let the water out - very clever and simple; only around £8 or £9 too....

as for the overflow - i see the point, but whoever leaves the tap running in this eco-friendly day and age...??
