I've vote this HOT, but a friend of mine said recently that TopUp TV was being phased out for something else. Is this true?

I think Top Up TV are moving towards the VOD type of programming (Like Sky Anytime that has just launched) in that they will down load a selection of programmes overnight to your Top Up TV PVR and allow you to watch it whenever.

As this box has a card slot I think you will be able to get the Satenta Sports channel for £10 a month, save you having to pay 30 quid for Sky Sports.

I think thats right, I'm sure someone will be along to correct me if I'm wrong! ;-)

TUTV cards are no longer available. So unless you need a replacement TUTV box its not worth looking out especially for one ith a card slot.

By the way, i've got one of these boxes and the reception is pretty poor compared to my old goodmans GDVB3 (which needs constant resetting :x )and for some reason the damn thing puts up complete bands as no signal for no apparent reason.

Sounds hot but all the problems mentioned above, I'd give it a miss - besides Richer Sounds always do these wonderful sounding deals but you have to be camped outside the door on the day they start to actually get one - it's pretty much bait-and-switch with them.
