Strathvale is the brand name for Lidl's premium range of fresh beef, pork and lamb, which is 100% traceable from farm to fork.

Lidl's fresh beef comes from the best cattle reared by local farmers throughout Northern Ireland and what's more, because it's hung on the bone, matured for 21 days to optimise taste, flavour and texture, you can really get your teeth stuck into something super tasty.

Normally sells for £2.69.

What % fat is Lidl's idea of lean?

not sure much of the boasted texture that comes from 28days hanging on the bone is going to survive mincing mind

Apart from it actually saying 21 days, not 28, and seeing as hanging meat improves both flavour and more importantly TENDERNESS, do tell us how mincing it (if in fact it was mince, and not actually diced steak!) is going to remove that tenderness and make it MORE TOUGH?

Where did I say it was going to make it tough?
I said that texture was not going to survive mincing - nothing about making it tough let alone MORE TOUGH.

Gee - why do I feed trolls ffs???

Oh I am a troll am I.

Love it! Post nonsensical rubbish, then accuse OTHERS of trolling!

It's easy really, it's a thread about Lidl... some people have a problem with ANY posts for Lidl. Simple as that, however it is usual to post something that at least makes sense.

You show me where I said it will make anything tough or MORE TOUGH and I'll agree you are not just making stuff up to start an argument.

You argue like my gran after she has been on the sherry.

If I wanted to argue, I would argue with someone who is up to the job, so putting you on IGNORE is far more satisfying.
