Too late for my milkman, we cancelled his milk a few weeks back.

Pick up a couple of these yesterday.
It was good to see the price match with Asda :)
#9
spot on this stuff half the price n just as nice
#10
I bought this several days ago (Salisbury) I had to keep checking back at the price and comparing it to the other bottles to see what the catch was!
#11
great stuff, i knew it was 92 or 93p and though that was a good price, ill now be stocking up, even £1.06 (the original price) was excellent compared to the others :)
#12
Oh how disappointing, I thought the offer was a cow for under £1, I need a new one after my old one broke.
#13
Gone bk up to £1.06 in mine now
#14
That milk looks really fresh, do I have to squeeze it meself?
#15
Tesco are gits, they only have about ten twenty of these on the shelf, never any left when i go in even at £1.06

Why dont they put cages of this stuff out and replace the milk at £1.50 ish, its the same bloody stuff.

**** Tesco Asda rules

Yes the wars have begun

Morrisons ST.IVEL milk 89p
#17
Morrisons St Ivel milk kept out only in small quantities ...not well advertised, pushing towards the pricey milk
#18
excellent price!!

Offer was on, but out in Bulls Bridge Hayes. More likely in the warehouse, but girls busy comparing lipstick colours and guys out having an extended fag break...

Fresh'n'Lo by Robert Wiseman Dairies is their budget brand - nowt wrong with that!

It should be the same quality as all their other milk - BUT IT IS NOT!

Its milk that has been bought on the spot market, so it could have come from any where, hence travelled a long way, could be a few days old, mixed with other milk, etc.

You can process (pasteurise and Homogenise) fresh milk and get it keep up to 16 days - but only if its fresh - the older, the shorter the shelf life.

What you'll probably find is it wont keep for the length of time that's on the label - has happened to me 4 times now.

So unless your willing to take it back (its going to cost most people more than 40p to do this)...

ONLY BUY IF YOU WILL USE WITHIN 4-5 DAYS OF THE USE BY DATE.

but thats only an opinion.

I find that both Asda and Tesco do this. The cheaper milk has a small shelf space.Very limited and very rarely in stock, just an empty shelf. All of the other brands, the more expensive milk have cages of the stuff.

Your entitled to your opinion and you say you've had four of these go bad - i'd advise you check your fridge as it sounds like its not set at the correct temperature or is possibly broken.
Ive never noticed any differences between this stuff and regular tesco stuff (aside from the price difference).
Who buys milk to keep for longer than two weeks? Seriously if you want milk thats gonna last that long buy the UHT sh*te, this is two litres of fresh milk at a very reasonable price, one of its target markets is people that struggle to pay £1.50 for a 4pinter.

FarmFoods usually have oodles of 'Wiseman 'The One'' for just £1, it's been like that for months.

also 2l or normal Wiseman milk = £1 and 3l = £1.50

Just been to local Tesco Metro, and it was £1.06. This same Tesco Metro had the offer at 92p the other week

Very disappointing :)

Never had any probs with this going off btw, but maybe cos I drink loads of it.
