If it's fresh, that's a real bargain, but would cost me about 50 quid in petrol to drive there and back! Unless you're offering to post it for free!

What does "fresh" mean? Is it frozen and thawed, or truly fresh?

According to the woman in Tesco's, it hasn't been frozen yet as it's safe to put in the freezer at home. Therefore, it's fresh!!

That must be because of its proximity to the coastline.

This explains the fleet of empty Tesco reefers lined up in Peckham at 5.15 every morning.

(As to "fresh", I thought all trawlermen froze their catch the same day. If not, and they fish for days at a time, it must get pretty smelly before that lady assistant at Tesco receives it)

Gutted!
