EDIT: I stand corrected - it's parts 2-8, not 9 or 1.

Are you sure its 1 to 9?!?! As Part 9 has been out of print for years! As its a different studio.

A brilliant deal if you love absolutely rubbish horror movies (ok, the first one isn't bad).....

I remember watching one, and at the start Jason gets blown to bits by the FBI. When they take his body parts to the morgue, the coroner inexplicably decides to eat Jason's heart! (thus becoming "possessed" by Jason). Ridiculous.....! I mean, why would you do that???!

Oh, and I love how the 4th one is called "The Final Chapter", and the 9th is called "The Final Friday"......lol

Which is the one by another studio which is out of print for a reason.

C'mon - they're not going for Oscars when they make these. If you don't like them, why did you click on the deal?!

I've double checked, and it's actually 2-8, not 9. Or 1, for that matter. It looks like 1 and 9 haven't haven't been re-released in this manner.

As for Jason Goes To Hell - yeah, that was a pretty weird entry. Having the FBI kick Jason's ass is great. You wonder why, given his bodycount, that they hadn't tried that before. But the film goes downhill from there. The 'real' Jason only has about five minutes of screen time in total. Kane Hodder's paypacket for that one must have been quite meager.

But what bugged me more was Jason Takes Manhattan. It's not a bad movie as such, but I can't believe it's not fallen foul of the trade descriptions act. The bulk of the action takes place on a boat going to New York - only the last 20 minutes take place in Manhattan. I'd love to see a Jason film where he actually does go on the rampage in a big city.

These are the DVDs the offer applies to:

They may not be stickered up correctly. New Blood was down as £8.00, but came up as £3.00 when I got it scanned. I thought it was odd that Part 7 would be full price when the rest were £3.00, so if you see these at a higher price, ask the staff to scan them.

I still think £3 is still too expensive for this crap lol...

I love 8 Jason takes Manhattan - and by takes they mean, entire film on a boat, last 5 minutes on a dock. Brilliant.
