it's a shame these don't include the uncut episodes like the DVD boxset..

I had the Dvd set and upgraded. Well worth it for the picture quality and remastered widescreen early season versions alone.

I forgot how "perky" the girls were in friends! Very noticeable in Hi-Def!

Would be great if the extended versions were available in blu ray like the white dvd box set

It's been £50 in Sainsburys for a few months now. Won't vote either way.

10% off with WELCOME for new accounts so even cheaper potentially

I think you maybe referring to this particularly well shot scene - I assume the heating had packed up on this particular day

How you doin'?

Wow! I don't suppose anyone knows the season/episode that screenshot was taken from?

Nice bit of sexism.

Decent if you want on disc, but we aware they will all be on Netflix from Jan

I've spotted this in HMV in Watford at £45

That was the reason I got rid of my box set and got the DVD Version. When you know it's there and it doesn't show it its disappointing

Maybe for the 25th anniversary they will release the uncut versions in bluray.... Another way to squeeze a few more quid out of the show

I got it for £49.99 in a 2013 'Black Friday' deal, and since then I think it's been £48.99 once! I don't think it will be £39.99 for at least a few years. It's as good as I remembered it being before E4 lost the rights to it. :( Almost as annoying, for me, as when the BBC lost the rights to 'Mad Men'. :(
To those who go on about the extended episodes you only lose a little bit per episode, so I don't think it's a big loss. I don't know why they couldn't/wouldn't put those extra few minutes in, but it wouldn't surprise me if in a few years they released an:
'extended' extra special collectors limited directors edition mega fantastic 'Friends' foot long box-set in a super shiny big box, for only £9999.99, at some point. :D
Only slight annoyance for me is that they've over-boosted the colour, but that's common on HD stuff and not a big deal.

I'll wait as long as it takes really - i'm not too fussed. I've got the whole thing on regular dvd and it's on an almost permanent loop in HD on Comedy Central as well so it's not like i can't ever watch them in HD. Would be nice to actually own it on bluray at some point though.

Ahh right well I'd wait then if you've got Sky as it's the same stuff for 'free', just without an advert stuck in the middle of each episode.
