Celebrate the 15 year anniversary of one of TV's most successful show ever with this Friends Season 1 -10 box set, featuring more extras than you can shake a smelly cat at.

Popular American sitcom Friends first appeared on our screens back in 1994, to little fanfare. The show followed the lives of six twenty-something singles--Monica (Courtney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Ross (David Schwimmer), and Chandler (Matthew Perry)--who occupied a trendy New York loft apartment. These were essentially six beautiful people who had probably never known a hard day's work in their lives, and whose every utterance was a well-crafted witticism. But despite their idealized lifestyles and perfectly coiffed hairdos, there was something annoyingly endearing about them. Viewers could easily relate to their struggles with work, sex, and relationships because these were universal struggles - albeit heightened for comedic effect. From early on it was clear that Friends had successfully tapped into the zeitgeist of its time, and now, 10 series down the line, the show's broad appeal continues to live on in popular culture. This box set contains every episode from season 1 to 10.

I don't like the show, but a great price :)
#5
Thanks - nearly used my HUKD £10 Zavvi voucher on this - but ended up using it on Mini Ninjas when they dropped the price to £17.95 - so to get this for this price now is great (especially as my Amazon Prime free trial I started when I got the 37XV635DB TV from there last month hasnt run out yet).

Cant see it dropping much more in price either.
#6
Ooh even better, saves me a trip to Asda! ;)
#7

Except for the waiting, potentially damaged box and non-easy return :p

Good alternative to ASDA but if the local ASDA has stock then I'd definitely rather go that route

Loads in ASDA in Ipswich. I find whenever I order on line they always deliver when we are not in. The Mrs has to collect the kids from school and 9 times out of 10 they try to deliver then. I then have to wait 24 hours to get it redelivered, they usually fail to do so and I end up driving to the depot to pick it up. I can't even buy a pint of milk or some £1.00 beers and a pizza as I can at ASDA.
#14
brilliant, got it from asda... could've saved me 3p... btw it's one fantastic box... i was struggling to find details about it before i got it so if you need some info just pm me :)
#15
Might only be 3p cheaper but by going through Nectar E-Stores you can also gain Nectar points, and if I remember you get 2 per £1 so 78 points, worth an effective 39pence extra.

NB My local Asda had the box set but they haven't bothered changing the SEL which still shows £75
#16

anyone know how big the box is??

It's fairly small, significantly smaller than the black box. It's about as wide as a DVD case and as deep as about 10 cases stacked next to each other.

Tell me about it, ordered from Amazon upon release for £70, I used a £20 voucher and sold my old crap Friends big black box set for £50 so I essentially paid nothing, but it would have been nice to have extra cash of course.

Each to their own opinion- I hate Friends and think it's one of the worst sitcoms ever made. I wouldn't take it even if it was offered to me for free!

I voted hot, however, as it is a good price if you love this God-awful show.

Me too. Isn't there some way of getting Amazon to refund the difference if they drop the price within a certain period of you paying for it?
#35
are the subtitles in Dutch only?
