Popped into Poundland Colchester on Saturday and to my great delight found a range of Friends DVDs in store! They had quite a few left and I managed to get series 8-10 (about 14 discs in total) each disc has 4 episodes on it. Don't think they'll last long... Not sure if other Poundland stores are stocking these, but good deal in my opinion if you're a fan, local and maybe looking for a few more discs to complete your collection..? I was just happy to have the last series really.

There were about 14 discs in total for series 8-10 (each disc has 4 episodes) I know there are box sets available, but as I mentioned in the post I was happy to have the last series really. Think this would be good if you're building up a collection...or just want to enjoy the odd episode. :-)

ohh i thought these were full seasons for £1, its only certain episodes of the series, like episodes 1-4 of season 8 for £1?

If he bought 14 discs, then he possibly paid £14 for the lot (that's if it's £1 for a disc). I guess you could pick up a season for £4/£5. All in all, this isn't a bad deal.

That's right - 4 episodes per disc (episode 1-5 of series 8 for example) I thought they were the full series at first but decided it would be nice anyway to get even just the final series... Well done if you find better deals, I'm sure there are many others out there, discs with full series on and box sets etc..just thought I'd mention the find :-)

£1 per disc (4 episodes per disc). I've just checked and each series has 5 discs total,so £15 for season 8-10. Not too bad if like me you just wanted the last seasons or you're missing a few episodes in your collection...

Amazon marketplace have all the FULL series for around £2-5 w/ delivery.

These are 2nd hand dvd`s sold to poundland via Music magpie.I know this as i have the unfortunate jobs of checking/buffing these items on a daily bias as i work for Music Magpie.

Trust me,i`m dont work there by choice but needs must.Plus the devil works 4 days on 4 days off which is quite good really!

I once met a very nice arms dealer/narcotics importer who told me something very similar. A lovely chap he was too ;)
