Celebrate the 15 year anniversary of one of TV's most successful show ever with this Friends Season 1 -10 box set, featuring more extras than you can shake a smelly cat at.

Popular American sitcom Friends first appeared on our screens back in 1994, to little fanfare. The show followed the lives of six twenty-something singles--Monica (Courtney Cox), Rachel (Jennifer Aniston), Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow), Joey (Matt LeBlanc), Ross (David Schwimmer), and Chandler (Matthew Perry)--who occupied a trendy New York loft apartment. These were essentially six beautiful people who had probably never known a hard day's work in their lives, and whose every utterance was a well-crafted witticism. But despite their idealized lifestyles and perfectly coiffed hairdos, there was something annoyingly endearing about them. Viewers could easily relate to their struggles with work, sex, and relationships because these were universal struggles - albeit heightened for comedic effect. From early on it was clear that Friends had successfully tapped into the zeitgeist of its time, and now, 10 series down the line, the show's broad appeal continues to live on in popular culture. This box set contains every episode from season 1 to 10.

£3.50 is definitely not too bad at all for each season :)

Bought this when it was £20 at Tesco before Xmas.....

Have no idea if £35 is a good price currently but have seen it a lot cheaper than this since Xmas. I think I'd wait for it to be cheaper than this, which I'm sure it will be before too long.

I think £35 is cold. Sorry.

Bought it at £20 when the Morrisons deal was on, so at nearly double the price, I don't think £35 is spectacular.

People are losing perspective lol, it's still a good price.

Same, although it is a still very good price. Voted hot.

Still a good price for the definitive version (the black box set can usually be had for cheaper but it is nowhere near as good - shorter episodes, double-sided discs etc).

Yes but to be fair the cost of researching/building a time machine for the price of today, if you wanted to buy today, is likely to be more than the £15 difference. Tesco were doing a great offer on petrol 5 years ago but I have to compare with the prices readily avaliable today

I got this when it was £ 20 at tesco, took me a few episodes to get back into it... in 2 months me and the better half are now onto the 7th series. Started off watching one episode in bed before sleep and slowly turned into going to bed on purpose at 8pm many nights to watch between 2 and 8 episodes!!

Absolutely one of the best series ever made, its hard not to like it - I tried years ago to say I detested it but soon got sucked in....

At £ 35 though I think you will get it cheaper elsewhere so not voting either way. This white boxset is the best one to get though as extra scenes and not cut to shreds

I suppose it's a good price if you're a fan. That it has been available before for less doesn't mean this isn't a deal- as someone else noted it doesn't mean it will be available that cheap again and currently this is the best price for this item. Personally I detest Friends, but realise a lot of people are fans of this mediocre show, so voted hot despite my personal dislike.

have watched this on a loop a dozen times, still laugh everytime and even before because I know what's coming, lol. Good price with the extras scenes in :D

Just ordered. Nice find

got it when it was £20 before xmas at tescos.......altho price of £35 not as good, this box set is well worth it IMO as you get a lot for your money...we've watched it all, and then re-started the set and had a lot of laughs from it! Plus its the uncut set which included all the extras.

It's a good price voted Hot.

Although it is worth noting that in America they are showing Friends in full Widescreen and in High Definition (not upscaled either), so makes you think that a Blu-Ray Widescreen boxset can't be to far off although the price will be sky high.

I have this boxset in this deal and have to say they have used far too much compression in the video as the picture looks quite poor compared to the E4 shows.

Hey but for £35 you can't knock this deal.

Hope that by waiting for it to drop to £20, I won't miss out!

I got the tesco deal beginning of december as an impulse buy. Best decision ever.
I finished watching Season 9 a few nights ago. I'm glad when there is nothing on TV i want to watch as i then get to watch this (even though i have seen them about 3 times at least).
Watching the them in order just makes it better (and since they are bout to stop on e4) they won't be on free to air tv (i believe comedy central going to start showing them, may be wrong)

I thought that. I've up to season eight, and kept expecting the quality to improve through the years, thinking that the first seasons might not be the best quality because of when they were made, but apparently it's not just me!

A Blu-Ray boxset, even if it is sky high price-wise, would be a ridiculously great addition to my collection ^^

Even if you've seen them 100 times its worth it for the extra scenes, like when rachel pulls the fire alarm and Ross' couch gets trambled X)

One box set in stock tonight at Morrison's, Gainsborough clearly priced at a hot £20.00!

I've been waiting for it to go back down to £20, since I missed out on the xmas deals. I think I'll wait a little more until drops a bit more.

Voted hot btw :)

Here is a comparison of the actual DVD Versus HD 720p (not even 1080p, which would be even better).
As you can see the picture is sharper, clearer and has better colour reproduction on the HD version and you get to see a lot more that has been cropped of the DVD version, also it looks a lot better when watching on a widescreen TV, so no squashed down picture to fit screen or black bars on the sides.

High Definition 720p (widescreen)
