Nice if its 2GB! hope they will honur it.
#2
deal says £103.39 inc. VAT
on site.

sorry just read the post properly, my mistake
#3
Very hard to get, good deal for those that do!
#4
nice one
#5
Qty 20 .. good spot and lucky for those who manage to get.. but too limited to be hot to me (not voted)
#6
Great deal no doubt, but can't vote it hot (or cold) due to the VERY limited number available, and the silly way they are selling them (split through the day) - basically you have next to no chance of getting one. Maybe you should actually put 20 in the title rather than limited numbers (which could mean anything really)
Thanks anyway!

Just a lost leader to get as many registered on their site as they can .... brilliant price but I wont vote as it is next to impossible to obtain and will lead to more spam..
#8
COLD from me - another marketing deal like the overclockers deal posted a while ago. Good if you can get one but 20 items is extremely limited!
#9
Shame its so limited, good deal if you get one - good luck!
#10
I managed to get one of the Overclockers MSI Motherboards at a great price but not after a struggle.

I received a phone call to tell me I had been one of the lucky ones, they took my cash then after a few weeks I phoned them to be told by a very very unhelpful guy called James that I wouldn't be getting one.

After e-mailing the guy who originally called me I received an e-mail completing the order but nothing else, no apology or anything.

Hopefully this will not happen with Aria, I have dealt with them many times and they have always sorted me out.
#11
do you pay P&P too?
#12
Good Luck, but wont vote because a hot vote would be really misleading.

Agreed, but it already is if you vote by the title (which alot will) - 20 isn't mentioned until you open the deal page and it really should state in the title!!

Oh yes, yes, yes...probably some astronomical price..that's what I hate about Aria.
#15
Voted cold because realistically hardly anyone could actually get this deal, so it's misleading and just done to get traffic to their website.
#16
Shame only 20
banned#17
holy smokes, but i dont like all the limitation stuff.
#18
Even if they sell that for a pound, there will be people saying things against the deal!!!

This is £eighty something delivered (including VAT and delivery). To me, this is a smoking hot deal.

Heat and rep added - thanks.

Sh*** if it's 2gb, bargain if it's 2tb !!
;-):
#20
good luck to everyone whose trying to get one lol...
#21
Agrre that qty 20 should be included in the title somewhere to give a trie indication of just how limited this will be. The 2TB drew me in and the limited to qty 20 per release should be there for balance.
#22
almost zero chance
#23
Lame offer.
#24
voting cold, so that everyone loses heart and does not bother, allowing me to grab one.

worth a try at least imho - no reason to vote cold on the principle that it is a marketing ploy - isn't all "sales" that are posted just the same in essence?

49.99 + 6.95 next day carriage + VAT = £66.90 delivered

Overclockers can be an absolute nightmare... what basically happened with these motherboards was they had about 10, but sold far more than they had in stock. They then may not have sent out any notification of this fact, which is pretty bad when they've just taken the money for the things. In fact you were quite lucky to get it from them for the price you paid

Out of curiosity why was James very very unhelpful?

really you would pay £30 a gigabyte??!?!?!?! :w00t:

well i have a terrabyte hard drive that i can do for you at £25 a gigabyte :p

-only winding you up

Alarm set!
#30
Sorry, voted cold as it's essentially just down to luck of the draw, 5 drives on offer every other hour, good luck getting one.
#31
Hot from me. At least they're being open about there only being 20. Half of the deals on here are low stock. Heck, we have an Amazon deal for a 5850 that isn't even in stock...
#32
wow i get that its limited quantity, but it is a smoking deal! I dont understand why people vote it cold just cause there is a CHANCE they might not get one. 5 people each hour have to get them, so why cant one of those 5 be you? Quit whining. As a deal it is a hot price. Just make sure youre one of those 5 and all is gravy!

For the same reason if a deal is in a single Asda store in the whole of the Uk with a stock of say 5 units, it isn't a deal. I remember when Littlewoods made a "pricing mistake" on their Buffalo hard drives. Despite not being able to fulfill the orders. They let you get all the way to creating an account and giving your card details, but later on cancelled all orders yet still sent out customer newsletters.

This is an excellent piece of marketing on the part of Aria. Pretty much working off the same premise that Littlewoods used, but somehow by being "transparent" they get away with it. They get a lot of people registering for the chance to purchase at this low price. This isn't how HUKD is supposed to operate, hence cold. If there was a time duration in which to purchase at this price, then I would vote hot, but the cynical side of me can see how this is working in their favour.

+1

This is NOT a deal, more a piece of luck if you get one.
#36
Good deal only if someone is lucky enough to get one!

I hate Aria though...never buying from them again. I was scammed out of a new monitor! When I was at Uni. I took a faulty monitor back and forgot to get a receipt for giving it in.

When I came back for a new monitor a few days later their staff had left and no record of me returning monitor. Manager did not believe me. Went to Police they said civil matter! :((
#37
More of a lottery than a deal.

Hear hear, but the price is great.
I got a 1tb HDD when they did this last year and prices dropped hugely 2 weeks later...hopefully we see a repeat show.
I voted hot because I have been a beneficiary of Arias deals but the P&P is pretty frustrating when you usually get free ebuyer and scan delivery.
#39
not many and lame company.
#40
i wont be a cold deal for the lucky 20 who get it...

just for the bitter ones.... lol
