Multiplayer is ok but single player is super dull.

Not true, i regularly play online with this game and join maps that have over 30 people in them some even have the maximum 50 players. From what i can see when i am online there are always games available to join.

This is true.

Its too bad, this game was actually innovative and great fun online, but sometimes the performance is not very good because it uses the ****** unreal engine.

Avoid this tripe like the plague.

I had nothing but problems with this game even to the point that I had THQ Customer Services bamboozled as to why it wouldnt run on my machine. They even had the audacity to ask me to do a reinstall and try again.

Eventually when I did get it up and running I found it to have been completely not worth the hassle because it was so bad.

For the record it was QX9550 with a 1GB HD4870 and 4GB of RAM so it was hardly a poor machine.

Edit

Sorry I didnt see that it was the 360 version. Obviously I am talking about the PC.

Not a terrible game for the price but as has already been said i've seen it £5-6 a few times.

Single players is very easy I think I got killed twice in the whole game before leading up to the final part of the final mission. The times I died were quite careless..

Multiplayer in my experience was pretty poor, I tried to get into it and constantly defended it (I actually pre-ordered this) but after months of the game not getting patched MP became a bore.
Go into any match and you would find most people running around with 'noob tubes' which have flawless accuracy with their one hit kill. You could fire first directly into a persons head at close range but before enough bullets leave your gun you've been noob tubed. Instant death.

Then there were the guys who REALLY ruined it by abusing the MANY glitches, hiding in areas they shouldn't be (on top of cliffs and inside walls) or just parking a remote tank thing right on the top of a cliff at a point which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to take out but having a full view of the map.
Oh and there was everyones favourite, the auto-sentrys, dump one of these at specific point in a map and you can cover all of the enemies spawn points. Flawless spawn camping.

The concept was superb, poor execution, and within a couple of months of the release Bad Company came out :-D

Anyway that is a lot of negative points but it's pretty cool to play with the remote tanks and UAVs etc.
