Some families throw peas in the lasagne so the kids will eat them and a way of getting veg in them.
Personally I never had a problem with my kids eating anything cause they always got it from being babies.
Hate fussy kids.

Good deal but who the hell has garden peas with Lasagna? Sounds disgusting! Know you can use them for another meal but it's meant to be a meal deal, seems a weird combo to have in a deal to me!

We always have veg as a side dish with lasagne, usually peas, sweetcorn and broccoli or carrots, I never knew it was weird!!

But I do have two children to fill with veg so maybe that's why we do it, can't remember what we had before!!

Because they don't like lasagne, or it's bad lasagne?

We were the same, the lasagne was pretty awful. Still a good deal for the res of the products though.

Think your right there, all these kids that got rewarded chocolate "daily" for nothing, are not going to eat much fruit and veg.

'disgusting' is a bit over the top? lol

I love peas with lasagne and its rare that I wouldn't have them together. Perhaps Coop had me in mind.

Unfortunately you couldn't say that about the lasagne in the last meal deal they ran - I've had vegetarian lasagne with more meat in than the brand they used last time, I'd have been better off chewing cardboard for all the flavour it had...

Last time i bought the coop meal deal with a lasagne, the lasagne had a meat content of 10% lol

Well every one understood what I meant!! So get over the spell check on my phone. Still love peas but hate children who just eat beans with chips and nuggets!

Nothing wrong with having veg. with your lasagne. What I find weird though is 3 different carbs. at once. In this case: pasta, bread and potato. Personally, I think it came from that other imported staple, curry. When the curry house was first introduced into our fair land people didn't have a clue what went with it. There was naan bread and rice and of course they had to have chips just in case they didn't like that, 'foreign muck'. They didn't realise they had a choice, they thought they had to have all 3 (_;)

What do you mean disgusting? Yes may be a little unorthodox but it is certainly not disgusting. Disgusting would be lasagne with chocolate brownie for example. Get over yourself

I always buy the five pound meal deals cos they're really good but they done this lasagne deal before and hear me now.. the lasagne. Is. VILE everyone in the house moaned.. I'm never fussy but this was like dog meat.. not that I've ever had dog meat but you get the idea.. yuck! Only nice thing is the carte dior (or however you spell it)

I agree I have either peas or sweetcorn with lasagne as it helps to mop-up all the sauce ... beans with lasagne now that would be a wrong 'un.oO
