Frozen Turkeys and Turkey Crowns only £8.00 @ Morrisons

loopylornaloopylorna

Crowns were 1.9 to 2.3 kgs, not too sure about the turkeys. Only 1 per customer though! What a bargain £5 cheaper than the other varieties.

this includes the turkeys 2 guys, upto 4.4kg in weight. Normal price for these turkeys is about a tenner. The crowns are about 13quid for this weight so they are the better deal. My store has enough to last the weekend and maybe monday/tuesday.

Yep, remind yourself the slaughterhouse then it is easier to walk again from the meat! Easy to watch off the blood and then run salt on it cut it into smaller pieces and then pan fry to delicious flavour.

If you want free range I know Marks and Spencer have them in their catalogue for a mere £70 plus for Free Range.......:shock

(Got a crown from Aldi last week and was £8.99, so anyone that misses out on Morrison this is another option)

Oh dear, they are not putting blood in meat are they? How horrid! :whistling:

The reality is that your dinner comes from killing and slaughtering an animal and if you find that shocking then maybe you should not eat meat rather than pretend it doesn't happen. Just because you don't see any blood in the supermarket doesn't mean that there won't have been any when the animal was slaughtered and butchered - there would have been loads!

Hot. However beware and check ingredients in and Turkey Crowns as last year we found Coop Turkey crowns had glucose and water in them and we think it was 12%. A Crown being the best meat should be just that.

Food poisoning from blood? You really don't know much about where your food comes from or how it is prepared do you?
