Possibly the cheapest unlimited monthly usenet subscription around. This is a limited offer and usually costs $5.99 per month. No hidden limits, US/EU servers SSL encryption, 20 connections and 30…

hows this compare to easynews? i currnetly use that £9.99 per mth, but cant access from work, and not used for ages so wasting time with it, but nice to have access..
so you pay £10 per month for a service you rarely use? oO

just get a NewsGroupDirect 1TB block (about £25)

I pay for all the cable channels and never watch them.

It would be far cheaper for me to just buy the bluray's of the series I actually like that always seem to be cancelled (Whereas the junk seems to go on forever).

I use astranews (It maxes my connection whereas iplayer is about 1/6th speed).

I don't even really watch that much TV. (Probably average a few hours a week).

Any file format / high quality / no silly waiting (And being treated as second class citizen's to the US) / No Advertising and most importantly no DRM that is why usenet has the best product.

Even just selling high quality mkv's when it is first released in the US would be ok. (I spend allot on media I get nothing out of really that I do because I kind of think I should pay something).

If your ISP is Virgin they have a free news service, retention last time i checked was 30 days but ive heard stories its more than that, it has all the major groups and usually on a new file if i cant complete it with Astraweb im successful with Virgin. Great for free the details are.

news.virginmedia.com
no username or password it knows if your a customer
connections i use 20 and it works
no ssl

As for the deal avoid it, it will be useless stay with the best astraweb its only $11.

I think it's only 7 days (according to some of my mates).

I'm with BT and get 100 day retention for free :)

its 30 days on VM

so you have no worries downloading music, films from your own ISP? Just asking for it arent you?

you'd have to be pretty daft to download copyrighted material using your own ISPs server without SSL! oO

I think the "Limited time" is finished but it is now $4.99/month or $50/year which is still pretty good
