Fujifilm 1GB XD Picture Card (Type M) Type M enables high storage capacities to be achieved at lower cost per megabyte. Using new, compressed methods of digital data storage, higher capacities are achievable with minimal impact on read and write times. Types M uses different methods of digital encoding, however, their identical operating specifications make them fully interchangeable. Please check with your manufacturers handbook to ensure compatibility of this card with your digital device. This product is know as CAM-XD1GB-M-TYPE-XX

The type M cards are not very good and are in fact slower than the original XD cards.

Type H are the best.

Hi,good deal for me.Not sure if F610 will take/use a 'H' or a card over 1GIG.But ain't had no probs with 1GIG 'M' cards.
So whatever price a 2GIG,it isn't a better price for at least me(be nice to be proved wrong thou).

I remember paying something like, £70 for a 1GB XD card a couple of years ago............captured lots of good memories, though

voted hot - for this and the 2GB

Excellent price. Tesco ripped me off big time for a 2Gb when I bought an Olympus a month or so ago that was advertised on here. Camera was cheap and is superb as a camera but but did they ever catch me out with the memory :x Won't be shopping there again in a hurry.
