£29.99 @ PCWorld :p

Play.com deal is still better with 4% Quidco (~ 36p).

May not be worth in this case, even if its 110% because calling a 08445610000 number costs 5p / min at all times from a BT line :)

Any way, choice is yours

I agree, it's a good price from play in the first instance
I've found with the pc world price promise, you can get it by just taking proof of the lower price into your local store, when I did call the number, that's all they told me to do, but then printing out the proof will cost you a sheet of paper and some ink ;-)

I had real trouble trying to buy a 2GB M2 memory card using the price match. The local store refused to do the deal as they claimed the card being sold instore was not identical to the item on play. I spoke with manager but he wouldn't do the deal as he said the one instore came with a free convertor and the play one didn't. I am sure the play one comes with the convertor as well, but as it is not shown in the picture, then they wouldn't do the deal.

Phoned up PCWORLD today and the guy did the deal instantly on the phone no questions asked!

I can remember paying £18 for a 256mb XD card only 3 years ago. :w00t:

Yeah, but you pay £3.95 p&p on top of that. Plus it probably won't turn up.

Ring them again, they did it for me on the phone!

As for printouts, they are no good as the local PC World store will look it up on the internet directly to make sure it really is available...

Agree there is postage to pay.

But I have never had any problems with 7 Day Shop. Always deliver.

I haven't in the past but on a recent order have only received (funnily enough) a 1Gb xd card out of a dozen items. All dispatched same time - which was 16 days ago now. Also this is the 1st time they wouldn't deliver to my work address (plus no phone support).

All I'm saying it's a much better bargain from Play

Yes, I did spot that. I bought this card in the store, and they actually had the 2GB Type-M card in store even though the web shows the 2GB Type-H.
