Excellent deal. Voted Hot.
I have a JVC Camcorder which uses DV tapes, what is the best way of getting these onto DVD? I have the cable to view the pictures on my computer.

Usually get the Sony ones from Amazon, but at this price, rude not to.

They were 75p though, not 65.

I have the Sony DCR-TRV19E MiniDV Cam. Bought around 5ish years ago, hardly used and was debating whether I buy a new one for easy transfer to DVD's.

I then I found out that I can use the DV in/out so all I would apparently need is a DVD recorder with a DV in port. I guess I can get a little more use out the ****** after all :)

Can't comment on the quality as I haven't bought one yet looking out for a good one on here.....

The built-in firewire is too much effort and a performance machine was really required to do anything with the video.

How do these compare to the Sony premuim tapes? The orange wrapping ones.

There are loads of different software you can use that can cost a fortune (I use a couple of different ones), but if your looking for something quick, simple and free you could try one of the free downloads at download.com like the ones below;
