Just ordered this, was going for the F30 but at over a third less than the cheapest F30 I plumped for the 20!
A really good point and shoot by all accounts and especially good in low light.
The f30 only offers a better battery, additional manual controlls and a higher pixel count on the LCD.

Wow, great price, great camera. This is actually (probably) a more instantly usuable camera than the F30 as it has a more realistic high ISO setting and few will miss the odd manual features lost. The image processor is also slightly improved. This is cheaper even than Fuji direct refurbs.

Hot.

blinding price this!

if you read the reviews they all rate the F20

may have to get one now :)

voted hot and repped.

I've been impressed with this camera having bought one from Argos in February when it was reduced from £150 to £120.

At £83.25 it is a bargain.

Fits nicely into the 'Crumpler John Thursday Camera Bag' from My Memory (also bought a Fuji 2GB xD Card).
#5
If anybody has any second thoughts about this camera, dont!!!! This is a great price for an incredible pocket-fitting camera. Voted hot.
#6
cheeky ebuyer, price is up to £89.99 inc VAT :(
#7
Still an excellent deal.
#8
Does anyone have a F40 fd ?

Any good ?
#9
Thanks for this :) Nice find Lewie!
#12
But it takes XD cards! I can not start buying another card type. I want one that uses SD ;o)
#13
Good price but I would still prefer something that takes rechargeable AA batteries and more common memory cards

ought

Its the F40 then
#15
Expired deal now as price has gone up to £124.34 inc VAT.
#16
The deal is back £89.99

Good price - but be warned that all Fuji cameras of this design are prone to a fault that causes the battery to lose its charge. I know of F10, F11 & F20 models failing in this way. If you are unlucky with the one you get repair by Fuji does not seem to fix the problem.
#18
damn, i didnt check ebuyer today and ordered from http://www.ukdigital.co.uk/fuji_finepix_f20.htm for £99 inc vat

comes with 2year warranty aswell, is this standard with all fuji cameras?

oh ordered a Fuji 1GB XD Picture Card for £13.99 delivered from: http://dvd.co.uk/Hw/Fuji-1GB-XD-Picture-Card/N075450A/product.htm (dont forget quidco for 5% cashback)

Thanks lewie :)

ive used many digi cams with view finder and ive NEVER used it lol

the screen is anti-reflective so it should work fine outside aswell

as for the batteries, some prefer AA, some prefer rechargeable battery

i don't mind either tbh

I have had the slightly bigger brother of this camera (the F30) & its is excellent.

View finder: I agree that the lack of a view finder is no problem as I didnt use the one on my last camera at all.

Battery: Nope it doesnt use AA's so probably no use if you are likely to find yourself miles from a power source for weeks on end BUT the battery life of this camera is phenominal (& even better in the F30). In reviews they apparently get 300+ shots per charge with the F20 (& 500+ shots with the F30).

I bought my F30 in Mid Feb & apart from the initial charge its only been charged once. I've taken about 700 shots & still seem to have plenty of life in the battery yet. (The only reason I did the second charge is that I went on holiday for 1 week & topped it up just in case).

I paid £150 for the F30 but would definately have gone for the F20 at this price instead (cheapest at the time was £120+).

I have read a few of the user reviews on DP Review and most of them seem to have concerns with expsoure outdoors. That there are lots of blown-out highlights.

Has anybody who has one of these cameras found that a problem?

Cheers
#39
other reviews on here make no mention..also have a look at this one
