Which store is this in? Is it all large boots or just one?

Either way, you could also try to get a pricematch @ Currys which still list it at £150, (so £50 difference and 10% of the difference = another £5 off, so £95).

Good camera especially at this price. Voted hot

hot !! very good price, especially at £95 :gift:

Wonder is it as cheap online after any codes ????

Awesome camera, amazing price! Hot Hot Hot!

Current promotion is 600 extra points on £60 spend, so coupled with your 4% regular points (and sadly no quidco now) you basically get £10 off, making this camera a steal at £90.

Voted hot!

it's only available instore, still the original price online (it even has the 'new' logo on their website!). It was an edge of town store that stocked it which did photo's on site. I would guess the larger the store the better, but always worth ringing first to check.

I'd still rather the f40fd/f45fd (£75 for a refurb from fujishop). More pixels does not mean a better picture, especially on the same size sensor.

I have the Fuji F40fd which is an excellent camera. If this is a step up then it should be really good!

i really want this camera, hope theres some in my local store, voted hottt.

The f50fd is more of a step across from the f40fd, or (very questionably) up from the f31fd. It has the manual control of the f31fd, but not the low light or lower noise of the f40fd. This review conclusion may be helpful:

"What the F50fd isn’t though is a high ISO leader. Its predecessors consistently impressed us with their low noise and high detail even at relatively high sensitivities and remained benchmark models against much newer products. Unfortunately by playing the numbers game on resolution with the F50fd though, Fujifilm has lost that high ISO advantage. Don’t get us wrong, the F50fd is no worse than any other 12 Megapixel compact, but it’s also no better. So if you’re a pixel-peeper looking for an unusually low noise compact, you won’t find it here.
Ultimately the FinePix F50fd is good but not remarkable. It has a pedestrian 35-105mm optical range, a screen and IS system which are bettered by rivals, and arguably doesn’t match Canon, Panasonic and Sony for industrial design. It is however a solid performer with effective indoor flash facilities, reasonable manual control and represents good value considering its high 12 Megapixel resolution. As such we can recommend it, but it’s not the F30 / F31fd successor we were hoping for."

It really depends what you're after. If you're after low-light performance, the f40fd is the better option. If you like bigger numbers (and a bit more control), the f50fd is the better option.

Had one in stock today at my local BOOTS in Stockport, but the price was £149.99 on the ticket and came back as the same when checked on the till. No purchase at that price from me I'm afraid.

If you find one cheap you can get the store to sent it to your local one with the internal delivery system, takes about a week , we did it with a Quinny Zapp it was reduced to £75 in one store and was transfered to our local one FOC
