CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FROM AMAZON.CO.UK - IN STOCK

22/12/06 - just reduced, now cheapest price in the UK.

I have one of these cameras, it uses a unique new sensor which is 40% more sensitive to light than any other CCD sensor in the world. It can also go up to ISO 3200 at full resolution, higher than any other compact camera currently available.

Here is a video review from Cameralabs:

Here is a real-world test showing a normal sensor compared to the F30's hexagonal sensor.

Basically you can shoot good photos in conditions that any other camera would either not function at all or would produce very dark blurry images.

For a lot of reviews from consumers go to AMAZON.COM (the US site) and search for Fuji F30. It has one of the highest buyer ratings of any camera on the site.

It's exactly the same camera, except the F31fd has face detection technology (automatically locks focus on the faces in a photo) and costs £70 - £80 more.
