There's a big thread about the camera here...

Can't really get the 7 off without a friend (and I have none ;)), 106.70 + 5 P&P = 111.70 - 3% quidco = 108.35, Still cheaper than the other deal on here, hot!

If someone orders this then I would really appreciate someone referring me (rep will be left) for the £7 discount as I want to order this camera at this price.

Contact me via PM if you need my email address.

Anyone who needs a 'friend' PM me your email address. I refered myself as I have previously used pixmania, just used a different email address and card details!

The £5 P+P is actualy a store pick up charge!!!
The P+P is really £6.30 on a 2-3 day delivery making it the same price as the amazon one but without waiting 2 to 3 weeks for it....ordered one on tuesday, just looked at the 'track parcel' and is now at delivery branch ready to arrive tomorrow:giggle:

Probably because it's Pixmania, who make a regular habit of charging people for a product that isn't in stock, isn't going to be in stock for quite some time, and stalling for several weeks on issuing a refund. Plus, they're French. This means that there's nothing to cover you if anything goes wrong, and it very often does with them.

Note that a reviewer for this camera on the Amazon site says that the user manual was in French and that he had to buy an English version.

When i bought mine through pixmania i was allowed 1 go to download the manual in pdf form for the camera.
If anyone needs it and if i can get my email to send the pdf then pm me and i will send it:whistling:
P.s it was a FREE download on pixmania, no charge unlike amazon!!

I've heard you can downstream these manuals of those internets things.

What will they think of next?

Once you would've dealt with those jokers from pixmania (non-existent customer service), you would've voted this cold too!
My advice: order this from amazon if you value after sales service, even if it costs a pound or two more!!!

Thanks Fryster, got the email, Rep left.

Although after reading this thread I am considering not buying from Pixmania now, with this sort of camera you really need a proper manual, it's all well and good downloading a PDF but to print that out would cost a fortune and you need a printed version.

I waited 3 monts for my refund with Pixmania despite ringing them on numerous occasions! their customer service is a pile of pants

Price has dropped slightly, including quidco and £7 off voucher this is now £102.10 delivered! Will it tip below the £100 barrier soon?;-)
#22
Received mine today, ordered Thursday at about 9pm so not too long a wait. All seems good so far, apart from the manual being French (this doesn't really bother me though).

So, for me anyway, no problems with delivery and after quidco will cost just £103.28. With the extra bit of money I saved by buying it from pixmania I have paid for an 2gb SD card to go in it, so worth the saving however small it may be!:)
