  i ordered for my daughter took delivery today, battery is faulty or the charger. spent 40mins on the phone to fuji and credit to them they are sending out 2 new batteries and a charger. camera looks very nice, looks too good for a 10 year old girl! i tried charging from the usb but because of the battery it didnt work.

  Why does it advertise the CMOS sensor? They tend to have some advantages, but also more noise than CCD. And especially with 16MP on a tiny sensor that is bound to be an issue.

  I plugged mine via USB and it doesn't seem to charge. I've also checked the manual and it doesn't say anything about the charging via USB it says that you have to take the battery out and put it in the charger provided.

  Thanks for trying, looks like I'll have to give this a miss. We're dreadful for losing chargers etc in this house so I'm trying to go with things that charge via USB only
