Does the Amazon deal come with rechargeable batteries and charger, dedicated case and 4gb card ?,i don't think so,does it come with 4 interest free monthly payments ?,can you get out and about using the camera for a few weeks then if you don't want it then send it back for a no quibble refund ?.The Amazon camera isn't even in stock and wont be released till the 16th of February, also with the Quidco cashback it takes it down to the same price as Amazon.Honestly, this is some bargain but still the cold votes keep coming in,oh well i'll get down to poundworld and post some real bargains haha.

Pretty good deal really, yep can get it slightly cheaper around the net, without the accessories. However with a new camera on the market you take a punt as the reviews will be limited, so qvc 30 day money back deals on this kind of thing are the way to go with brand new tech on the market.

Hurrah, all the intelligent people obviously like a lie-in on Saturday morning, good to see this cracking deal getting a more positive response.Look at it this way, let's say you could hire the latest camera on the market for 4 weeks for an outlay of £6.45 in total before deciding wether you buy it,i know i would have a different camera each month haha.

Seems to be like GREAT Camera for little money. Do you think that it is worth to upgrade from my Panasonic FZ-28?
Heat up ;-)

QVC do, on occasion, come out with good deals and this looks like one of them. While the Panasonic FZ38 would be a better choice for quality its a bit more money, no extras or easy payment. So, all in all its a difficult deal to better.

I've tried the cheaper Fuji bridge cameras and also have an FZ38. I think you may be disappointed with the Fuji after the Panasonic.

Fuji HS10 has just been replaced by the HS20 so it may be worth seeking one out if you fancy an upgrade. The HS10 is a good bit of kit but bigger and heavier than the FZs.

This looks like a great deal, ordered mine last night :-)

On paper this looks great; but if I was looking for a camera I'd hold off buying until I'd seen some full reviews - recent Fuji 'super-zoom' models have been quite variable in standard with some of the cheaper ones quite disappointing.

Edit: If you're willing to risk the cost of return postage you could always 'buy and try' and return under their 30 day policy if you aren't totally happy...

I don't think you pay for return postage,it comes with a returns label,i think all it would cost you the initial £6.45 postage.

You don't even risk postage if you return it within 7 days as by law they have to refund all money paid (DSR)! That should give you enough time to have a play and see it's worth 'risking' the postage cost by using the 30 day trial!

I have never seen a QVC deal get hot before
#18
Looks like the first ever QVC deal that might actually get hot!

There's not many user reviews about for it.

Also, the picture that shows the included charger shows it takes 2 x AA batteries which is annoying because the camera takes 4.
#19
£165 + 2% Quidco at Simply Electronics if you don't want the included SD card, charger and case or the option of payment in installations.

Good camera, reasonable deal, very irritating poster!

I expect it will get through the AA rechargeable batteries very fast! The other option is disposable alkaline batteries which is going to cost a fortune.
#22
Could someone please confirm the price, as I am being charged £228 although it does show today price only £188. However when I add it to my basket it shows £228 and no option to pay up.

I saw this on the qvc channel last night and thought it seemed very reasonable. Then checked it on the web and prices were comparable but none of the major inline merchants sold it so i though it was a model that perhaps wasnt very well known or was only released for a few select vendors. I now assume that its a new release, hence not many reviews or distributors?

That's right it's a new 'unreviewed' model; hence the discussions about QVCs 30 day returns policy... (this QVC deal has now expired...)

Any chance of this going back down to £188?
Should've got it yesterday....

Just found this camera in best buys for 149.99 until 01/06/2011 then i went to currys and found this for £199
currys price matched this and then gave me 10% of the difference so in total cost me £133 from currys
