Following on from the successful launch of the world's first 3D camera in September '09, Fujifilm continue to offer consumers the opportunity to make their own true, rather than interpolated, 3D content with the launch of a new camera - the FinePix Real 3D W3

A world's first!
While smaller and lighter than the original model, the FinePix W3 adds a bigger and better quality screen, an Auto 3D mode, stereo sound recording and the unique ability to shoot video in Real 3D in High Definition, with live or recorded playback via direct connection to any 3D TV - using an HDMI mini-cable (hi-speed type) 1.4 cable.

The FinePix W3 continues Fujifilm's strategy of offering Real 3D content by replicating the human visual system in combining two high quality lens and two CCDs in the one chassis - and allows consumers the option of viewing 3D images and video either with or without special glasses.

3D content can be viewed, and on a huge scale, on any of the increasing number of large screen 3D TVs by using the sets' supplied glasses.

Alternatively consumers can also view stunning 3D images and video without glasses through the camera's built-in 3.5inch LCD display or via the optional 8" 3D digital viewer/photoframe. Images can also be made into special 'lenticular' prints - via a unique printing process which will shortly be available in the UK for the first time and in a range of sizes up to 9"x6".
Owners of 3D TVs can also rest assured that the FinePix W3 will show their new screen at its very best, thanks to the unique 3D HD video recording and a parallax control function which helps to remove crosstalk problems by allowing 3D fine tuning, even after the images have been taken

Be very careful if you are buying from this source. The seller is actually US based although it refers to the item being dispatched from Brighton ??
Look at some of the feedback, neutral and negative and you will see potential problems.

TBH this is a little too cheap to be true IMO. Buyer beware.

Also, I asked Fuji for a sample 3d print before almost purchasing last year. I was not impressed with the lenticular images. Can't comment on the image quality on screen though.

Not denying the feedback and if you're happy with the seller and their items that's fine but buyers still need to be aware of potential problems about where the item is sourced and whether UK/EU warranties will be honoured.
One potential problem could be if you wanted to buy an extended warranty from Fuji or need to get the camera repaired at their UK centre.

I'm sure though that if it's an honest and upfront deal the seller here will provide you with answers to the questions above ?

Looked at this and the W1 a couple of weeks ago, ended up going for the W1 (this was 260ish at the time I think) from amazon. The onscreen image on the W1 isnt great (but it is 3D without specs) and I assume that the W3 isnt much better (its only 0.2MP better). However, if you dont mind looking like a geek you can get some free software to convert to images that you can view with 3D (red/cyan) glasses on your PC. Can also get a digital frame from them that uses the same technology.
Good deal at the price though, heat added.

I've bought from Digigood before when they were an Amazon seller. Bought a casio bridge camera - no probs - pretty sure it was UK stock. I always keep an eye on their eBay shop - they have some really good prices - though they are prone to fluctuate wildly.

I have quite fancied one of these and was amazed when I saw the price on this deal. After some of the previous comments I became cautious and contacted Digigood. They confirmed that this is a US import and as such comes with US leads (with UK adapter) and NO manufacturer warranty due to it being a US import. So I personally will keep well clear and go with Amazon or such. Hope this is of assistance. Also it records in NTSC.
