thanks for post will go tomorrow for one . been looking for a good one for ages and it's got good reviews

So has anyone else found this deal?
#5
its funny how cameras have become so cheap and yet we all don't need 8mp and above, we're never going to make good use of it (unless your going to blow it up to poster size)

Well good deal, heat added

Is this better than the Fujifilm A170 they sell for £47? A170 used AA rather than rechargables, but other than that......

So has anyone else found this deal?

Just phoned and had 1 scanned at Sheffield and its scanning at £59, so not voting either way, would be a scorcher if it was nationwide. Hope this helps somebody:thumbsup:

Didn't have this camera in Swindon yesterday.

This isn't national, just been into Bearsden branch and its still scanning at £59. Guy told me that the item is deleted stock now so in theory each store can reduced if they want to. But at £59 he said they would sell easily at that price which I agree with.

Hapy hunting.

I have rang 4 in my area and all scanning in at £59 :(
#11
it takes rubbish photos the chap in jessops told me to avoid it !! You have been warned !!!
#12
Good luck to the OP but responses on here suggest it's not generally available at this price. Has to be cold I'm afraid.

This is just another "one-off-the-shelf" deals, which for some strange reason always get high votes, LOL. Total waste.

I got a large loaf of bread for 9p the other day in Morrisons. Should I have posted this?

Even if they have been reduced in the OP's store only, it's still a deal. Anyone who is able to get it from that store will be thrilled.

This issue has been brought up time and time again on HUKD, yet some people can't see the benefits of it..maybe he should have said 'abc' price in 'xyz' store, rather than making it feel like it's a general Asda promo. Or it could be that some stores have yet to update their prices.

There are several ways the OP or anyone else can post deals - use proper wordings to explain whether it was a store special, whether it was a clearance area in a specific store, selling at less than half price or not post a deal at all for whatever reason.

But most of the time someone will find the deal useful. Giving it heat, not voting or making it cold has no monetary value, maybe its mentally disturbing for some, but the way i see it, even though I would like my deals to be scorching hot, whats good to know is that it is of some use to some people.

We should really welcome people posting deals - most, if not all of us are on here because we make good use of the deals. If we feel it's not worth our time then simply move on to another deal.

At £39 this represents average value. The camera isself is small but takes utter rubbish pics in comaprison to say a £50 canon. Pics look flat and soft. You can tweek the results in photoshop to give you a better image..... but this takes time and experience.

I paid £60 for mine from Amazon a few months ago and have regretted it ever since.

At the end of the day, there are better point and shoots for not a lot more money.

hi - what branch did you get yours from. Just to help any others on here who might be local to you

hi i bought mine from stenhousemuir branch but it was on the reduced shelf not the actual shelf where they are still priced at £59 .

maybe if people are phoning to get them scanned the workers are going to the camera shelf and not the reduced shelf where they have a red reduced sticker on them.

hope this helps
