I need a new cam, seems a good price, but better with charger rather than batteries

Rechargable AA batteries? Also, in an emergency when your battery is flat, you can just stick some Duracells in.

brill little camera

seems a good price, reserved for collection! Heat added!

Good price but carrying a battery charger and spare batteries around is a real pain.

Why would you need to carry both? a couple of spare AAs is hardly a major burden! Whatever camera I buy I want at least one spare battery and a couple of rechargeable AAs is a lot cheaper than just about any proprietary Lithium battery which will still need recharging.

Ive got the a170 and its an excellent camera. I always go for Fuji and they've never let me down

I have this camera and it takes brilliant photos but i think the rechargable batteries i got are quite rubbish as it doesn't last as long as i thought they would. Heat added for price

Personally I'd rather go for a known brand like Fuji, it's generally difficult to find any proper reviews of this no-name stuff so I'd not take the risk.

i think it depends how often you use the camera really, personally I'd rather use lower capacity hybrid rechargables. If you're using the camera very regularly and can remember to keep these freshly charged then fair enough use a higher capacity 'normal' NiMh.

Looks like a decent price for this camera.

I was hoping to get the Aldi one today but our three local stores said they all sold out within 10 mins of opening, one said they only had 5 per store!

#18

The weakest point of these cheaper cameras is often low light performance.

Picked one of these up yesterday. taking cracking pictures if you take into account its price, especially in macro mode.

Anyone know the difference between the A170 and A160? Fuji promo video looks exactly the same for both.
