Thank you. Mother-In-Law had just been on the phone to ask for advice on getting a camera for a present and this popped up & ticked all the boxes - great timing!
Have been waiting for price to drop for these models because was waiting for the A180 but the spec is identical to this A170 according to Fuji's website so ordered thanks heat added:thumbsup:

PS: all reviews seem to very favourable for these models>
Does anyone know if this will be better than a Canon powershot a480?
Do these have re-chargable batteries or standard AA's?
I bought one on Sunday when they were £54.00. Arrived Monday, nice camera. If code dose not work try CAMERAS8 to take it down to £45 as im pretty sure that code is working. Also quidco 10%
Oh sorry & its standard AAs but it wasnt eating them like my last camera did.lol:roll:
Mediocre spec AA camera but at this price it's still hot! Good one for older kids and non-enthusiasts.

Wonder what else the post-Christmas sales may bring?
Nice price!
Camera finally sorted for xmas ;-)
lost the sanyo 10 mega pixel one which i bought for £53 from asda. this is a gr8 replacement.! bought 2 using code.:gift:
Cheers m8 needed a little extra xmas present
looks good.
Just saw a Fuji 10Mp with proper Li-ion rechargeable for £69 in their sale. Didn't note model number but a good price for rechargeable version.
Oh sorry & its standard AAs but it wasnt eating them like my last camera did.lol:roll:

Cheers!
Ordered mine 23rd December @ 6pm and I sht you not, it arrived midday on the 24th (today) - Was stunned, amazing service considering it was free delivery!:w00t:

Great camera too btw.
Bought two from Jessops last week as presents and one of them failed within minutes of being opened today - the lens won't open and it displays "zoom error" on the screen - this is being returned tomorrow.

- Simon.
Good Offer!
Only had to wait for 1 day for arrival so excellent delivery seems a pretty decent camera for a point and shoot and zoom is good so for the price still hot deal. Noticed they were selling in store (Jessops) for £49.99 including i think 6 of those energizer batts ultimate lithium (ie pack of 2 argos are £6.79).

Cheers to OP for finding deal.
Nice camera for a basic point and shoot, I leave all the SLR stuff to the hubby, I always liked fuji for basic cameras, they seem to way outshine the likes of samsung, this is no different, arrived today, I ordered Sunday, so dispatched over the BH, can't be faulted.
Great camera, reserved mine and collected today. Love it so far!! Great bargain. heat added.
I got one of these for my Daughter, I am well impressed with it, not a bad little camera for the money.
I've ordered my camera for collect in store but they are reserving it until the 7th Jan. I'm not sure if I will be able to get it before then so my question is

1) Is the delivery free and can I alter it from a collect in store to a delivery?
2) If I can't do the above, when is the offer on until so I could re-reserve it again after the 7th?
Can anyone recommend a case?
I took the package with the memory card and case for £58, also ordered one for my sister in law:thumbsup:

Have to pick them up in store though as £15 delivery to the Highlands:x:x:x
