f ever a compact tried to do everything possible to get the best picture, this is probably it. The super CCD sensor delivers optimal results for high resolution, high contrast and low-light photography. And its totally flexible too, with auto setting for point-and-shoot or manual settings for full creative control.

Introducing EXR Technology
The Fujifilm Finepix F200 sees the debut of their revolutionary EXR Technology. This enables you to set image sensor preferences to obtain the best image quality. The choices are:

* High Resolution Priority (for when illumination is good and even)
* High ISO and Low Noise Priority (6 million pixels. Best for low light, it caps two adjacent pixels together to give a lower noise level), or...
* D-Range Priority which gives the best detail with contrasty subjects by taking two simultaneous 6MP photos with different exposures, then combining them.

Above code is for 30% off new cameras and 10% off refurbs

Definitely one of the best cameras on the market. Never mind it being the best ever compact for low light, it also takes better pictures than all compact with the exception of the Panasonic TZ6 and TZ7 and Canon SX200.

The Panny TZ5/6 can't use third party batteries, so you need to budget an extra battery which will add £50+ to your camera price (IMO, you need at least two batteries for those cameras)..

The Canon SX200 is much more expensive than the Fuji S200EXR but does give similar results, except for low light photography.

Carbon Quartz is the colour of the camera. I think there is no difference at all. Hope this helps.

Thanx for this tip guys
Its now £155 but i need some advice on somethng...there is also now a cashback deal on this camera, if you buy one between the 1st - 31st of Dec 09 you can claim a £30 cashback available on the FinePix F200EXR for the month of December 2009. Find out more »
My problem now is if u read the pdf on the link about i.e. the terms and conditions there is a clause there that states that the £30 cashback cannot be used with any other promotion etc. So if one uses the code P258BTCC467
here - https://secure.fujifilm.co.uk/shop/consumer/digital/ and get it for the £155 from fujifilm, does that code counts as a promotion re the clause mentioned above and therefore means i can not then claim the £30 cashback?
The reason why am asking is that if that the case then i might as well go buy it elsewhere where i can get it for between £169 to £173 delivered and then claim the cashback and so end up paying £143 which will work out cheaper than if i buy it on the fuji website as above for £155 wherein i then will not be allowed to claim the £30 cash therefore losing £12.
Any advice or opinion on this will be most appreciated guys ;-)

Did you get an answer to this, I read exactly the same, I have to say that the cashback form will not be aware of any other discount that other retailers are offering?
