I believe Galleons is a test store for Tesco so this should be live in all stores in the next few weeks

Bigger pic if anyone wants the serial number thingy from the price label...

Yep, this uses a rechargeable NP-70 Lithium battery.

I picked up the F45FD, which was the rebrand for Argos, for £60 before Xmas, off clearance bargains, on obey.

Excellent camera. I don't know nothing about photography but it was very intuitive. Especially good for indoor pictures.

Heat and rep.

I have this camera, well the argos version anyway. Well impressed with the colours and camera. Shame it doesnt have image stabilisation or manual mode, but great point and shoot.

Good price for a very good camera but I don't think you'll be finding this old model (which is better than the replacements and probably better most other compacts) in many, if any, other stores.

i have had one of these for a while.Superb little camera.

I did have a Fuji F31fd until my son dropped it while on holiday, so we replaced it with the F40 which in my opinion is just as good. The battery life is amazing and the quality of the photo's is superb. All in all a bargain, buy it and you won't be disappointed. :o)

Good deal if you can find one at the other stores! This old model is long discontinued and it is actually better than the current models:thumbsup: I managed to pick one up 6 months ago at Sainsbury for £49.99 as a clearance offer. Great little camera!

A decent little camera with proper Li-ion battery and using SD card memory (as well as redundant xD) for under £60 has to be a big, big bargain. Makes those AA powered deals (like the Canon one posted earlier for £5 more) look very poor value. Hot!

I'd still go for a Panasonic myself but this is worthy of very serious consideration.

I recommend this camera to everybody who wants a fab compact... and what an excellent price!
HOT from me.

Very very good compact. One of the best for low light and indoor shorts, perfect for the party season.

Love my F20
Anyone else found one?

The Manual mode of the F40fd is in fact a Program mode as it offers no control over the aperture or the shutter speed. What the mode offers, however, is manual control over some of the photographic settings such as sensitivity, metering pattern, white balance, auto focus, continuous mode, and exposure compensation.

I would presume this will be a one off (for now at least). Used to work at Big T (as a student) and the stores often have individual offers.

I do apprecaite the deal but I wish people would ask instore for more info when they see these "deals".

I just posted it so that someone who possibly lives in the east London area could benefit from this if they were looking for this particular model which is highly sought after. By luck it may also be at other Tesco's and I felt it was worth mentioning in case someone wants to have a look at their local next time they're picking up the groceries.

I looked ages for this a while back so I could give it to someone as a gift, but couldn't find a brand new one anywhere and eventually bought an F60fd refurb direct from Fuji. I know I would've been delighted to come across a post like this back then, so hopefully it helps someone out now.
