For a 3x zoom camera, the JV100 is very slim (18.9mm thick at its thinnest point) which makes it light and easily portable. Its high quality metal body is both sturdy and stylish, and with 12 megapixel resolution plus HD movies this camera giver great performance too.

12 Megapixels with 3x optical zoom
This high resolution enables detailed images to be taken that can be enlarged right up to poster size and the 3x zoom lens covers the 37-111mm equivalent focal length which covers from wideangle to telephoto perspectives.
High Sensitivity
The CCD sensor allows ISO sensitivity at full resolution of up to ISO 1600 (3200 at 3 megapixels). This allows shooting at very low light levels without flash.
HD Movie Recording
The Finepix JV100 records 720p HD movies with sound and using an optional HDP-L1 HD player you can view your movies on any HD-Ready TV.
Scene Recognition Auto
The Scene Recognition (SR Auto) mode automatically deduces what type of scene is being photographed. It then sets the focus, exposure and white balance for the best possible results.
Face Detection with Additional features
As well as focusing on faces in the frame, the JV100 has two really useful portrait features:
Smile and Shoot Mode - Waits for your subject to smile before firing the shutter
Blink Detection - Warns you of a photo with possible blinking subjects
Targeting AF
Follows your subject, even when just out-of-frame to keep it in focus.
Additional Features
Picture Search Tool - find photos by scene mode used
2.7" LCD Display
Rapid 1.7 frames per second shootinmg for up to 3 consecutive frames
