  If you're going for a budget digital compact camera then Fuji is your start point for acceptable quality. This is a pretty basic camera but likely to be decent. Hot!

  Superb for the price, I've bought a couple of refurb Fuji's in the past, and they were both as new, even had the 'new' smell.

  I don't think any Fujifilm Cameras do. I read your post on the last fuji camera listed on here, so I understand why you're asking. But to be honest, charging via USB is daft because it means you can't use thing while it charges. I have the Fuji 550exr, and bought 2 spare batteries for it. There's always one in the camera, one in my pocket and one on charge.
  
  Rather than limiting yourself to poor cameras for a silly reason, just stop losing the chargers!
  
  FWIW, the last camera i had that DID charge from USB was a Kodak, it was terrible.
