So use AA rechargeable batteries. Far cheaper and you can buy loads for backup.

In my part of the universe rechargeable AA's are easily available, you might want to move to Earth...

NIMH actually work better in digicams than disposables but it's a useful option in emergencies. I like the convenience of carrying just 1 charger and a common set of spare batteries to power most of my devices (the phone & tablet spoil the fun).

On earth we all have different sets of opinions, you may actually want to start to think that the world does not revolve around your opinions and thoughts. Some prefer rechargeable equipment as opposed to AA batteries.

To add to this, MOST lower end Cameras (SLR) tend to use AA batteries. That was my case for the person who can figure that out. Stick to your lower end camera and don't bother others, imbecile.

I wish all cameras used aa batteries. you will probably find a good few "high end" slrs come with a aa battery mount that fits the battery compartment. I always carry 3 batteries in total with me, because I have to. If my camera accepted aa's I could get around that much easier.
