Saw this deal instore at Asda Eastlands in Manchester last night seems a good deal for a good camera with great zoom capability.

12MP fine but it's a super zoom - the worst of all worlds. If you're going for something that big and lumpy (compared to a compact zoom) why not spend a little more and get a hybrid with an interchangeable lens that's also slightly smaller than a DSLR?

Staying neutral on the vote - it looks like a reasonable price for the product but I can't vote the product hot.

I think by 'a little', he acdtually means 'a LOT' more.

Idiots like that irritate me.

Definitely won't get a hybrid for a little more!! But there are certainly much better superzooms out there for a little more.

It looks a great spec camera but its not a which magazine best buy so id go for canon or panasonic compact for same money which have best buy awards !!

If your not in a hurry for this type of camera, have a look at the S2500HD direct from Fuji, deals can be seen here, not available just now, but appears often.

What utter rubbish. This is 15x OPTICAL zoom so how is it different from a hybrid? The only difference is the fact you can change the lenses....The sensor will no doubt be very similar. It is in no way comparable to a DSLR. I can't see how Hybrids and bridge cameras are different in specs apart from the lens....

Well I happen to *like* superzooms - give you 90% of the functionallity of an SLR - big and heavy enough tolook like a *proper* camera and yet cost a third of a decent camera and the lens won't fall off

Batteries are 4AAs, it is more bulky.

I'm not convinced how useful 15x zoom is without a tripod.

But a great price.

More bulky than what? They fit into the palm grip.

!5x is great as it has image stabilisation.

Does anyone know if there's any in stock in Bury St. Edmunds or Suffolk?

Plenty stock seen today @ Asda Kirkton Dundee, and now reduced further to £80.

Looks like you can order it online @99, not just an instore offer.
