Hot although its a highly competitive market and so Im not sure whats a great bargain anymore with these price range(£2-300) laptops.

This is a very good price for an entry level laptop. Fujitsu machines tend to be well built too - though can be chunky. At least this one is isn't!

Can anyone tell me how the Intel Dual Core P6100 2.00GHz processor compares to the celeron, pentium and i3 processors?

Topcashback of 4.04% available too on electrical purchases, which would bring this down to about £240 :-)

seems like the going rate for a P6100, still waiting for the i3's to hit this price before I bite.

Can anyone tell me how the Intel Dual Core P6100 2.00GHz processor compares to the celeron, pentium and i3 processors?

The P6100 is a Pentium (the 'P' part).
Celeron's are lower spec models to the Pentium (of the same age range).
The i3's will definitely be more powerful (everything else being equal) (1st gen Arrandale i3's are slower and have less powerful integrated graphics compared to the new Sandy Bridge 2nd gen i3's, but the Intel graphics included varies on individual proc models).

You can check the processor your interested in compared to any other reference processor using this website, using the websites search bar or just use the browser 'find' in the page (rough processor 'score', not related to graphics of a particular laptop):

Full CPU list:
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_list.php

Here's a list of some common laptop processors to compare against:-
AMD Sempron Mobile 3100+ (421)
AMD Athlon II P320 Dual-Core (1257)
AMD Turion II N530 Dual-Core (1445)
Intel Pentium Duel-Core P6100 @ 2.00GHz (1518)
Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4500 @ 2.30GHz (1549)
AMD Turion II N550 Dual-Core (1742)
Intel Core i3 350M @ 2.27GHz (2059)
Intel Core i5 460M @ 2.53GHz (2617)

Cheers, Mark.

Have been checking stock every hour since reading this! Came back in stock this week (seems to be in and out of stock.......). Very impressed so far. Build quality is excellent - made in Germany. I just added another 2gb memory.

Shall I go for this then? Does anyone think they can find any similar deals to better it? Right not I am considering this and the one off ebay that comes with the extra RAM and case.
