can someone please tell me if you can watch 720p movies with this? is it fast enough or am i better with an internal sata? i currently can watch 720p movies on my internal drive, just wondering if this usb will be ok

I'd guess a Fujitsu, in which case I won't touch it having had loads of failed Fuji drives over the years since working in IT. BTW last week it was rumoured that Fujitsu are selling their hard drive division to Western Digital, soon there will only be about two drive manufacturers in the world...

On external hard drives, is it possible to password protect certain folders. I want to get one but it will be shared and want to keep my own back up files seperate and confidential. Is this possible!!?

Silly cheap for a decent external 1tb drive. £80 is pretty much what bare drives are going for.
