Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Li1718 Notebook Core Duo - INSTORE AT TESCO £195.25
15.4 Laptop - C2D!!!!!! T5300, 120gb, Vista Home Premium, 2048 Mem
I took a couple of pics of the specs and the shelf edge label and will post them if I can. I'm sure that this is store specific but I can say that there was one in the Glossop Branch when I was there an hour ago.
Hope that they are elsewhere, bargain!!

um because you can esily put 4gb of ram in it, and 120gb HDD is plenty for most people.
Furthermore getting a C2D at this price is damn hot, even if it had been a Pentium DC it would be an alright price!
laze
Because it's less than £200.
Any proof for your cold?

No there is no web cam.
Yeah there is a cd/dvd writer
Why are people raving over a laptop that's got 2gb RAM and 120gb HD.
Can you point me in the direction of a similary priced laptop with 2gb Ram, 120gb HD and Core2Duo?
Any proof for your cold?
Exactly!, the same old whingers on here saying things like 'oh there's PROBABLY only one in the whole country so i'm voting cold'

The guy who was mocking this laptop for only having 2GB RAM/120GB HDD... This is hardly a laptop for gaming so why on earth would you need 4GB of RAM?

Because he is a troll who probably has no idea what he is talking about
It is whenever the laptop comes with vista 32bit which can only use 3Gb of ram.

Understandable point of view...however, 4GB is fast becoming the defacto standard for a good reason...it's needed if you want to keep up to date with new apps. Unrelated to gaming.
Windows 7 Enterprise edition grabs more than 1.1GB of RAM as soon as it's started up without you touching a key. That leaves you less than 900MB for all your apps, device applications and drivers, browser windows, taskbar utils, etc.
Both Vista & Windows 7 can use the full 4gb on 32-bit systems...provided your machine's BIOS allows it (I know many Dell's don't without an upgrade) this was taken care of my M$ via an update in 2008.
In that case, do people really believe t hat a model which is almost 2 years and a half old is going to be in stock in most tesco's in the country. They're clearly trying to clear old stock, which is limited.
Waste your time if you want but take on this simple peice of logic.
