Looks very good and at that reduced price, its an attractive offer. Reviews found here http://www.pcpro.co.uk/labs/175548/fujitsu-siemens-esprimo-mobile-u9200.html

Now that is an excellent price for a small laptop! Cant get better in my opinion (YES MY OPINION).

Voted hot.

Would have bought but need to sell my Dell Vostro 1400 first. Only thing with this which is that its an integrated graphics but my Dell has dedicated. Dont really use it but sometimes nice to play Pro Evo 2008 using my xbox 360 controller if travelling away!

Having read the review: Think I will stick to my Dell.

Not gonna go back on my opinion on the price! Still good for small laptop.

Not really an ultra portable in weight terms - it's 1.8kg and moderately thick cos of the dvd drive. You'd also probably need to buy a bigger battery, which would likely take it over 2kg.

Having said that, nice feature set. Built in HSDPA is good, no USB dongle to break. Add the 7.50/mth deal from Three and you have internet anywhere, although you'd absolutely definitely need the bigger battery then (hsdpa is very power hungry).

Question for me is at this sort of thickness and weight, it might be worth going for a light 15", which can have a higher res screen and will by default come with a bigger battery.

Edit: did a little research, it only comes with a 2200mah battery, which explains the poor battery life (you'll only get maybe 2.5 hours max out of that, lot less if using the HSDPA). However, there is a 5200mah battery available for 50 quid off ebay, which would presumably manage 6 hours light use.

a german mobile laptop site tested the battery to last just over 1.5hours... far from the 6hours suggested by the manufacturer... this was the dealbreaker for me, but for £362 its a great deal for those willing to overlook this...

shame its not win xp then it would have been perfect

6 hours would have to be the large battery, that's a long way beyond impossible with 2200mah.

1.5 hours is probably "moderately heavy use", ie constant net use or video playback.

good price on lightweight notebook

If anyone is looking for a small 12.1" widescreen laptop I can recommend the Acer 2920 at @ £399.99... I am getting a decent 3 hours batter life on average from mine and performance is fine for everyday use.

Why expired?

Probably because somebody didn’t read about the cashback and assumed that Ebuyer had bumped the price up. The OP should have mentioned cashback in the title really.
#17
or maybes it is because £519.92 - £150 = £369.92, quidco included in price?
Anyways if this werent available no more as the OP mentioned laptopsdirect have it for only £10 more, after cashback that is
#18
i would also like to know why my thread is expired?

That's not quidco, the £150 cashback comes directly from Fujitsu-Siemens.
#21
not saying the £150 came from quidco, was wondering where the extra £7 came from

i make it as .....

.....£519.92 - £150 = £369.92, quidco included in price? ...

while OP makes it ....

....£519.92 - £150 = £362.92 (no quidco added)....
#22
Must of been a typo, or i added it up wrong. I might submit the deal again with correct price and stating cashback.
#23
anyone know the actual spec? A lot seem to be options? If it is draft n with hsdpa then amazing :)
