this looks to be the exact same laptop as the dixons deal last week, only this is fujitsu and that was a Advent.

The Advent is ok machine, I managed to buy one, it cost me £190! Exact same spec as this, please note the graphics card is weak and the vista performance score is 3.0.
(can't even play C&C Generals).

Battery life is rubbish (1hr)
Chipset and graphics is weak (single channel, underpowered graphics).

Otherwise though its good for a cheap laptop, screen is good, build quality is average.

This is a good laptop for people who generally want to do basic tasks i.e. internet, office or edit a few movies occasionally/listen to music etc admittedly the battery is rubbish

Why not go for the Asus at the same price on ebuyer, same spec except only 1Gb of RAM(£12 from PLAY) comes with a 2 year guarantee.

Yes, the Asus seems the better deal, XPRESS 1100 graphics, card reader, 6-cell battery, and 2-years guarantee, all for £12 extra.
