I've got the N100 which I would highly recommend.
Comes with maps for most of Europe with the ability to set up for walking as well as standard car GPS.
Also got good MP3 & video players.
£120ish is an excellent price for the 2Gb model.

BillyBits, or anyone else that knows...it presume this doesn't come with a car kit? The only one I can find online is £48. Did you find anything cheaper?

Mine did.

Yes, it comes with everything you need . In fact I was surprised
how much was in the box. Excellent maps too.

Went to order this today and, literally, half way through the registering and ordering process the price jumped to £189 and included the European maps. Oh well, serves me right for not making my mind up earlier!

What are people's experience with battery life on these? I charged mine last night fully. It was switched off overnight but battery had gone down to 56% this morning! I'm assuming that even though it was switched off the GPS was still draining battery. Not sure whether this is just a fault with mine? What are other people's experiences?

I would suggest letting the battery go down to about 5% a couple of times
and then fully recharging.
You are right, when you 'switch off ' it is is in standby mode and using a
little power.
My battery will last about 3 hours if constantly in use. If using away from an
external power supply, I suggest going into standby and switching 'on' when
needed.

Ordered and mine now arrived ... documentation is v basic, and I am prob being thick, but would welcome help from someone who has one as to:

1. Does this give audio directions? If so how do you turn it on?

2. Has anyone else had any trouble with it saying GPS signal not strong enough at the moment to calculate route?

Thanks.
