It's mains powered as it's a 3.5" drive.

It looks like 3.5" drive so it will be mains powered. A 2.5" drive would cost more like £75+

Not much info available about this drive, i did read that some had hitachi drives & some had seagate drives in them

Yer lol, even i could answer them questions. at least you don't have to meet them

this made me laugh.
Also, I have no idea why the hell people need to constantly ask "Does this support windows 7 ?"
unfortunately, yes it does. If by that you mean does windows 7 support hard disks and usb ports and if fujitsu don't eat their own shoes and give hard disks their own drivers for no reason other than because they want to.
