Nah. Old tech now. Built quality may be good, but these are just massive and unwieldy. Just get a modern Haswell i5 that'll show good battery life.

You won't get a good Haswell for anyway near this price or for the features tho.

This is great spec for the money. Put in some USB 3.0 with the Express Card. Probably 32 Bit as 2gb of ram. Just put 2gb more in. Would buy this, but have Win 7 & 8 32 & 64 bit

It would make a great 2nd laptop if your main one has a problem and needs repairing due to its solid build/perfomance.

What's your main lappie?

Seriously...2gb of ram, no 3.0, not 1080p, first gen i5, second hand.

Seriously, can you find a better equivalent machine for the price?

It's a good bet for a 2nd spare mobile machine to cover you if your main one isn't available for a while.

These are great machines but Morgan have done them cheaper in the past. The screen's viewing angles are a bit naff but I'm running windows 8.1 and it's great. If you've got any questions just ask!
#8
How much cheaper for this model, dylan? I for got to check them during Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

Not great for the price, it may be touch screen but the specs ain't great and it's old.

self promotion of your own deal?

N2820 vs i5-460M

Hmm

@Ian2014 Lol not to mention in general use i5 Sandy Bridge will still be quicker to use than those two Laptop deals.

Weakness is the memory, but a 2GB DDR3 should be cheap enough to add and make it Dual Channel mode.

I bought this for a little over 200 a year ago from Morgan. They appear to come from Spain. Most people miss the point in this... It's a foldable tablet which acts like a surface pro.

Battery life is around 3 and a bit hours although I have managed to push this to 4 and a half by turning the screen brightness down when in a conference and writing on the screen. I do like this little laptop but I do wish they had put a higher res screen in.

Good deal, have some heat

The offer is not a sandybridge (3rd gen) this offer is first Gen I5 Nehalem based.

Current Gen I3 are faster and have better on-board GPU's.
