Thats a cracking deal, voted hot even though I support neither team....
#3
I'm a West Ham boy but good deal.
#4
Great price so voted hot although two of some of the premier leagues dullest teams coming together is not going to be an exciting game.
#5
:p I'd rather saw through my leg with a comb!
#6
yer good vfm but doesn't tell you where the seats are in the stadium until after you pay
#7
good price, much closer to what the ticket prices should be.

Won't be a classic though!
#8
I usually get home game tickets free through work, but hot for an away game :-)

I know its 2 God awfully dire teams who play rubbish football (one that relies on someone who can CHUCK the ball a long way and a thug that tries to break others players legs!!) - but its still a good price nonetheless.
#11
Oh NO! I won two tickets to this match, they've got a face price of £40 per ticket and the seat numbers are on them .
Unable to find a Fulham supporter in Kent to give them to so was actually contemplating dragging my husband up to this match with me as neither of us have been to any match since 1980 something.

Yep..and his name is Delap.

A complete embarrasment to any football team...cant play football but can throw a ball a long way....great talent!! NOT !!

Worst thing about it is that he wastes about 15 minutes every single game in total by trying to wipe the ball dry on his shirt trying to get it dry - it really is embarasing to watch.

The sooner they get rid of the clown and concentrate on playing proper football, the sooner Stoke will be taken seriously as a football team.

Lets be totally honest here....IF he wasnt dangerous with his long throw ins, he wouldnt get in any premier side...thats the truth - its all he's got -otherwise he's just a championship player.

Listen..i watched him for a long time when he played for Derby......he was barely good enough for the championship let along the Premier league.

I re-iterate......if he didnt hae his dangerous long throw, Rory Delap would NOT IN A MILLION YEARS be a premier league footballer. I'll take nothing away from his ability to chuck a ball a long way, but im affraid he is a very average footballer.

I mean....how boring can it get???...and this has NOTHING to do with football !

To increase the momentum of the throw, Delap takes four steps from the advertising boards around the pitch, followed by one long stride. In doing this he plants his front foot solidly on the ground propelling all momentum forward, thus increasing the speed with which the ball is released. Delap says he does not work on building his upper body strength and physique, although he uses his shoulders and lower back muscles to give power to his throw. For the ball to reach his target faster, Delap throws it on a flat trajectory releasing in such a way to cause large amounts of backspin. This helps to counter gravity so the ball will travel on a more level elevation even though it is released at such a low angle. He tends to target two players within 6ft of each other. His throw-ins are reputed as more accurate than most corners being that more muscles are used to control the direction in which the ball travels.[46]
