Changing subject slightly, did anyone ever get their copy of this from The Hut for £6.49 delivered or is everyone stuck on an estimated despatch date of 7th February? Won't ever get mine from them now as I lost the card used to place the order and have had to cancel it, so I suppose if the order does ever get processed it will decline, bum!!!

Nope still not recieved mine, i did recieve a email off them stating they were awaiting stock and would dispatch as soon as they arrive.

Still hoping it arrive';s

i havent received mine yet from the Hut

only last night i checked my account on the hut site and it said "processing". so i sent them an email and got a reply this morning saying that they are awaiting supply and it may take some more time.


here is the reply from them

"Thank you for taking the time to contact us at TheHut.com.



I have checked with our suppliers and this item is still out of stock and is on long term back order with them.



I am afraid that I cannot give you an estimated date for dispatch as
the suppliers have not provided us with one.



If you can no longer wait then we would be happy to cancel the order
for you, just reply to this email requesting a cancel.



I am sorry for the delay and any inconvenience caused.

Got my copy from The Hut on Monday.

Just got an e-mail from the hut that it has been sent. However when i checked my bank account, i noticed they have charged me twice. Just sent them an e-mail about this. Make sure you check you accounts!!

This is taking the **** now, anyone got a explination off them yet ???
I will try & phone them when i get back from work as it seems the emails are taking a while to be replied to

You might be able to forgive the odd person being over charged as a error in admin, but all of us is no mistake and needs to be sorted asap

They charged me twice as well. I called immediately and they can't see the double charge from there end. Instead they asked that I send in proof of this and they will sort it out. Great customer service!

I thought about it for 5 mins and called them back to voice my anger, but she wouldn't budge.

EVERYONE thats been overcharged, please phone them up and complain.

I have taken time to print my CC statement, wrote them a very snotty covering letter demanding a refund of the overcharge + compensation for my time/stamp etc.

NOT HAPPY.

Also called my CC company, MBNA who basically didn't give a toss, and told me to sort it out with THEHUT.

We should not have to send in proof at all! They should be able to see what they have charged customers.

I do not particularly want to send them my bank statement!

I emailed them about this and I notice a few others emailed them too. Maybe if we all spam them with emails complaing they will realise that they have messed up so we don't have to send proof in.

I e-mailed them too + phoned them twice. I would urge others to call in as well as e-mail.

And yes, I was not happy at all about having to send them the "proof", but I was told that would be the only way I'd get my money back.

I got charged twice too... over £12! in total. Not paying that for a game!! Outrageous!

Anyway was going to email them but they sent me this:

Thank you for your order with The Hut.com - 5234009

Unfortunately due to a technical error the payment actioned against your order has been duplicated. This has been corrected and you do not need to take any action.

You will only be charged once for each item requested on your order.

Please note that on your payment card statement you will see the charge for your order twice followed by a full refund for the duplicated charge.

lol, after just reading this post, i found i was charged twice, wrote an email to my credit card company and a stinking one to 'the hut' by the time i finished i noticed they had also sent me the same email as smokedog. oh well, at least its sorted.

Phoned them again to ask them why I had to send my details in writing.

Apparently after a few calls they became aware of the problem, so they'll just screw my letter up and chuck it in the bin.

Oh no you don't! I have asked for compensation for time wasted/postage costs you shower of .....

Grrrrr, so angry with this mob today.

This is the Full Auto from ChoicesUK, if you got double charged thats TheHut!

I doubt ChoicesUK charged twice as well, but TheHut said it's a mistake and the money has been transfered straight back. My games got despatched on Monday so they should be due tomorrow
